What is ICTMS?

The Information and Communications Technology Management Service (ICTMS) [formerly the Management Information Systems Service (MISS)] is the Department’s primary provider of information management, communication services and technology solutions, thereby, supporting the Department’s social welfare and development strategies. It is responsible in determining and recommending necessary, cost effective infrastructures and systems that enhance the Department’s competency for ICT governance.

How can the OBSUs inquire for ICT projects?

The Offices, Bureaus, Services and Units (OBSUs) or the project team should prepare the Terms of References, Activity Proposal, or the Technical Assistance (TA) Specification Report, whichever is appropriate to the project. These documents will undergo proper review and approval process of ICTMS.

What is the ISSP and WFP?

The ISSP is the Information Systems Strategic Plan prescribed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) while the WFP is the Work and Financial Plan consists of budgetary and planning documents. Projects and activities of ICT related resources or programs of DSWD should be in the ISSP and should also be aligned with ICTMS WFP.
