ICTMS GENDER SENSITIVITY TRAINING 2022

Performance Objective:

At the end of the activity, the gap on the participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes on gender mainstreaming and personal gender and development shall be addressed.

Enabling Objectives

At the end of the activity, the participants will be able to effectively:

  • Increased understanding of ICTMS staff on the basic concepts of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sexual Characteristics [SOGIESC].

  • To be associated with the DSWD GAD Agenda 2020-2025, and apply gender-fair language, and foster gender sensitivity and responsiveness in delivering services to and interacting with stakeholders.

  • Awareness of ICTMS staff on the importance of collecting sex-disaggregated data and gender statistics on the delivery of services related to ICTMS (information systems, dashboard reports, attendance sheets, etc.)

Expected Outputs

The activity is expected to deliver the following results and outputs:

  • The commitment of ICTMS staff to apply their learnings on SOGIE, gender-fair language, gender sensitivity, and overcoming gender biases and stereotypes.

  • Improved mechanisms and established agreement on applying gender mainstreaming in ICT policies and outputs (information systems, dashboard reports, attendance sheets, etc.)

  • Updated Gender and Development corner on the ICTMS site.

  • Documentation report indicating the results and outputs of the activity to be submitted to the Policy Development and Planning Bureau (PDPB) as ICTMS’ means of verification to the 2022 GAD Plan and Budget, and GAD Accomplishment Report.
